Ursula Celeste A. Aguiar is an Associate at the Law Offices of Victor L. George and speaks fluent Spanish. Ms. Aguiar recently second-chaired an alter-ego bench trial, which resulted in four separate corporations and three individuals to be considered a single defendant. Ms. Aguiar represents plaintiffs in employment, wage/hour, and personal injury matters; specializing in sexual harassment cases.
Ms. Aguiar is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Mexican Americ Bar Association (MABA), Latina Lawyers Bar Association (LLBA), and the South Bay Bar Association (SBBA).
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Victor L. George, Ms. Aguiar was selected from a large number of applications to serve as an American Board of Trial Advocates Fellow where she rotated between a civil plaintiff’s firm, a medical malpractice defense firm, and a criminal Los Angeles Superior Court judge.
Ms. Aguiar earned her Juris Doctor in 2014 from Southwestern Law School. While at Southwestern, Ms. Aguiar clerked at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in the Victim Impact Program Unit and later in the Preliminary Hearing Unit to hone her trail advocacy skills. Ms. Aguiar has also interned at Joseph A. Vail Center for Immigrant Rights and the Southwestern Immigration Clinic to further develop her trial advocacy training.
Ms. Aguiar earned her Bachelor of Arts in 2010 from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During the course of obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree, Ms. Aguiar interned for the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s office in the Victim/Witness Unit and the SART program.
