Meylin P. Alfaro is an associate at the Law Offices of Victor L. George and speaks fluent Spanish. Ms. Alfaro represents plaintiffs in employment and personal injury matters.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Victor L. George, Ms. Alfaro gained valuable legal experience at several Los Angeles area law firms. She has served in the legal field for over ten years as a paralegal, legal assistant, law clerk, and now, attorney. She has participated in all aspects of litigation, including trial and settlement of numerous cases. As an attorney she has zealously represented her clients in obtaining large verdicts and settlements in favor of her clients. Most recently, in October of 2019, she obtained a seven-figure settlement against a large production company. As a young attorney, Ms. Alfaro has already taken four cases to trial, successfully obtaining a $3.3 million verdict in April of 2018. Ms. Alfaro has been recognized as a Southern California “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers for 2019, 2020, and 2021. The dedication to her work is derived from deep empathy for those of us who suffer needlessly as a result of unjust conduct.

Ms. Alfaro earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science/Law and Society from the University of California Riverside. She then went on to obtain her law degree, along with a Master of Public Administration degree, from the University of La Verne. During her time in law school, she served on the board of the Hispanic National Bar Association and was the ABA School Representative. Ms. Alfaro also clerked at the San Bernardino District Attorney’s Office where she conducted preliminary hearings.

Ms. Alfaro is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (COAC), California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), American Association for Justice (AAJ), and the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA).
